Fiona Connolly (She/Her)

Fiona is an education and training specialist with over 30 years of international academic experience spanning primary, secondary, further, and higher education. Her expertise includes teaching, teacher education, course and materials design, assessment, and academic management. She also brings extensive experience in professional training and workplace coaching across business and organisational settings.

Fiona has contributed extensively to international education and capacity-building initiatives, including work in conflict-affected and resource-constrained settings across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Collaborating with organisations such as the British Council, UNICEF, and international education providers, she has supported teachers and learners through training, mentoring, and the development of context responsive educational programmes, often with a strong focus on inclusion and access.

Her work in materials development and authoring includes versioning and co-authoring educational publications, training coursebook writers, and leading the design of tailored teaching and training resources. As part of the ThreeSixtyInsights team, Fiona has worked as a Learning Designer, contributing to the design and development of micro-learning content for Digital Manufacturing Ireland. She has also supported various projects including Integrating Programmes for Students with Intellectual Disabilities in Irish Higher Education (INHEF) and Volunteer Training Needs Gap Analysis & Implementation Approach (Sport Ireland).

Fiona is also an experienced examiner and assessment specialist, contributing to international examination systems and quality assurance processes.

Alongside her professional work, Fiona has a strong commitment to voluntary engagement, both locally and internationally. She has supported refugee and migrant learners, contributed to community-based initiatives, and volunteered extensively within the arts and social sectors in Ireland. This reflects her longstanding commitment to inclusion, community participation, and social impact.
