Review of Safeguarding Training - Sport Ireland

ThreeSixtyInsights was appointed by Sport Ireland to review the current format of the organisation's safeguarding of children workshops (2025-2026). The project involved benchmarking of Sport Ireland’s current safeguarding training workshops against international comparators, a review of the research literature and extensive consultation with stakeholders. In addition to conducting a national survey, the review team facilitated a series of interviews with key stakeholders from Sport Ireland and the wider sport ecosystem. This informed the development of two online design sprints and an on-site playshop during which stakeholders prototyped future solutions for safeguarding training. As part of the project, ThreeSixtyInsights delivered industry standard prototype eLearning safeguarding training modules to the Sport Ireland Ethics team.
